Mythic Dreamtime ~ Kokopelli

Pouring Rains and Gusting Winds
make themselves known outside.
I Pisces/Aries (Rabbit/Ram) rest
safe & warm. Burrowed in covers,
I awaken w/in Dreamtime to the
presence of Trickster /Kokopelli.

Dreamtime:

"I am arriving for class, when a Female
Teacher invites me into her classroom.
Swaying to melodious Flute Music, She
adeptly opens flowing sacred garment,
beckoning me to come, join her Dance.
Beneath / within the colorful fabric,
I experience the feeling of oneness,
w/ Goddess of Movement & Dance.

The bell rings & I run to class. A Male
Teacher recognizes it is my Birthday,
(Spring Equinox) and has festivities
planned. Instead of coursework, we
have a Treasure Hunt. I run across
hardwood floors to discover a prize
in an abandoned Rabbit / Snake Hole.
I slip on the ceremonial Teal Leggings
& Shirt with image of Kokopeli on it
and begin to Dance my Jubilation."

"In his Agricultural Domain, Kokopelli's
Flute Playing chases away Winter, invites
Spring. Zuni Tribes, associate Kokopelli
with the Rain. He frequently appears w/
Paiyatamu, another Flautist, depicting
abundant Maize Grinding Ceremonies."

The Anasazi Indians associate him
with Fertility and Replenishment,
through music, dance, storytelling,

in Marriage Rituals, He is sometimes
creatively depicted w/Female Consort
/Kokopelmana. Like Rabbit, Kokopelli

The Dreaming Well / Shaman's Body

"According to Medicine People and
Mystical Traditions, a Shaman's
Dreaming Body, when accessed, is
a source of Health, Personal Growth,
(Abundance), Good Relationships,
and sense of Greater Community."

"The 'Dreaming Body'= Experiences
and Altered States of Consciousness,
that try to reach everyday awareness
thru Signals such as Body Symptoms
and Movement Impulses, Dreams &
Messages from the Environment."

My Awareness was peaked last Night
as I watched /listened to PBS special
with Jane Goodall and Bill Moyers
discussing the distress signals, now
being expressed, by Mother Earth
and her many Species at this time.

A Compassionate Few are listening
and responding, finding innovative
solutions to the many daunting
issues that are challenging us.
Many Others, are choosing to
turn a blind eye/deaf ear to
the plight of the Chimpanzee
& as of latest update of IUCN's
Red List of Threatened Species,
17,291 of 47,677 assessed species
are now threatened w/extinction."

Dreams are as delicate as Soap
Bubbles. Most of them dissolve
within moments of waking, so
keeping a Journal by the Bed
to jot down Images/Symbols,
can help deepen understanding.
According to Jung, we are every
aspect of our Dreams, so when
we Write / Sketch / Dialogue /
Role Play, each aspect, we re-own,
integrate it into our consciousness.

Dreamtime & succumb to everyone
else's Reality. The Shaman realizes
1st Worthy Opponents = those who
are closest to us, Friends/Family."

A true test of our level of Mastery/
Enlightenment, is how we react or
respond when we return HOME
to visit Relatives / Family for the
Holidays because they are Souls
who trigger us, push our Hidden
Buttons when we least expect it.

"Access to the 'Dreaming Body'
or 'Dreambody', is key for our
Physical Health and an Insight
into the Nature of the World.
It is when our Inner-Life calls
to us & we stop doubting (Self),
Spiritual Transformation begins."
